About eDistrict Portal

The eDistrict portal is a significant initiative of the Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC), conceived as a mission mode project under the National eGovernance Plan (NeGP). Aimed at revolutionizing the accessibility of Government to Citizen (G2C) services, the eDistrict application has effectively automated the complete process ranging from application filling to delivery. First launched in its Go-Live phase in the year 2011, the application has since been an instrumental tool in bridging the gap between the government and its citizens.

In alignment with technological advancements and the necessity for a robust and secure system, the eDistrict application is currently undergoing a redevelopment phase. This transformation, utilizing the latest technological standards, will bring about increased security, enhanced features, and greater accessibility to the citizens of Odisha.

Furthermore, the eDistrict application empowers citizens to directly apply for various services, catering to the need for a streamlined and efficient process. In addition to individual applications, the Government of Odisha has also established Mo Seba Kendra, offering assisted filling to those who may require additional help. This concerted effort marks a significant stride in digital governance, reflecting Odisha's commitment to fostering transparency, efficiency, and citizen-centric services.
